Hunters whose essence are most harmonious with the Hydra are skilled thinkers and expert communicators. Both wit and power of speech allow these charismatic hunters to often take the lead with ease. Their commanding words can summon more power than any crafted weapon alone.
Hunters in harmony with the Kakekanda and the Pelatrino with be your ideal companions. They will keep you committed to your goals and will also understand the value in fighting with words and wit as opposed to blades alone. Stay away from the Uragua as they only care for brute strength and will misjudge your strength as a weakness.

How to hunt a Hydra?
The Hydra is a power heavy Ocean creature. This means you have to come at it fast and hard, or be prepared to take some heavy hits. You'll either want to focus on building your own speed and power simultaneously, or your defense. The Hydra can be lured with a Kraken. Hydra Equipment
After hunting and crafting your way up the ranks, your equipment can be upgraded into these four pieces of equipment using Hydra parts. |
Winning with Hydra Equipment
Winning in The Hunt for Glory is dependent on the trophies you gather from the legendary Mahakasa. You're easiest parts to hunt will be the Mahakasa Feet, Head, or Shell. Using a heavy weapon, like the Nagarip, the Shell of the Mahakasa will crack without effort. Scales, Wings, and Tails may pose a bit of a challenge. To make high scoring sets though, you will need to gather an occasional Scales, Wings, or Tails trophy.
